Does the rope fender have a steel core?
Yes. All our cable fenders contain a steel core. By adding a steel core to the rope fender, the rope fender gets extra strength and we can determine the length precisely. The cable fender will therefore not sag.
What is the cable fender made of?
Our cable fender is made of high-quality polypropylene. The polypropylene we use is UV resistant, which ensures that the rope fender will not fade when exposed to the sun.
What is the lifespan of the cable?
Exactly how long the cable fender lasts depends on many factors. You should then look at how the cable fender is used and how the cable fender is cared for. If you take the boat out of the water every year to store it indoors and do not use the rope fender as bumpers, the rope fender can last 10 to 15 years.
How do I know what length I need?
We have created a blog in which we indicate how best to measure and install your cable fender. If you are not sure whether you have measured correctly, you can also have us measure it. This can be done both on location and on our own property. A third option is to send in/bring in your old rope fender. We will then measure the cable fender and will provide you with the same length as your old cable fender.
What if I don't want entire meters of cable fender?
Suppose you want a cable fender with a size of 11 meters and 30 centimeters, then you must order 12 meters and indicate the correct length in the description.

We supply cable fender in brown/beige color and in black.

Orders
What is the delivery time for my order?
We aim to have all rope products ready for shipment within 10 working days. There will then be an additional one or two working days for shipping.
Can I return my order?
You can return mounting materials and rope fenders to us. All rope products are custom made and cannot be returned 4 hours after ordering.
Can I also pick up the order?
The orders can also be picked up. This is possible as soon as you have received confirmation that your products are ready for collection. Then pick up at De Reiger 2 in de Rijp (North Holland).
General questions
Do you also sell head iguanas?
Of course! We have head iguanas in all shapes and sizes. Do you want a custom-made head iguana? Please complete the contact form! Delivery time of cable fender with head iguana is approximately 5 to 6 weeks (depending on diameter + length).
Can I come by with my boat?
You can come to us with your boat on a trailer. This way you save on call-out costs. We can measure, dismantle and install your cable fender. PLEASE NOTE: visits are only possible by APPOINTMENT.
What if the cable fender does not want to be pointed?
You can also order a cable fender without it being pointed. The rope fender will then be cut. The steel cable is still there. You can then place the unpointed rope fender on your boat with a stainless steel bush or tube.
